ECKey VIZpin App Allows Users to Manage Access Control on the Cloud

ECKey’s VIZpin app uses encrypted tokens to activate door/gate hardware and record that transaction on a secure server.

ECKey of Lancaster, Pa., releases the VIZpin, a cloud-based access control and visitor management service.

The VIZpin app, which has been developed for iPhone and Android, allows users to install the company’s EK7 Bluetooth readers then network them together via smartphone.

The patented VIZpin app uses encrypted tokens to activate door/gate hardware and record that transaction on a secure server, enabling end-users to send and revoke electronic VIZpin keys and monitor activity from anywhere without requiring a network connection, according to the company.
