Congratulations to Biola University Chief of Campus Safety John Ojeisekhoba on being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Increased officer retention from an average of 2 years to an average of 5 years.
  • Secured funding to increase the current number of video surveillance cameras on campus from 100 to 200.
  • Implemented stronger security measures on campus, including perimeter fences; classroom and office door locks that can be locked from the inside; improved facility access control; and the ability to lockdown the campus during emergencies.
